The past years have seen gigantic strides taken by MPC which have made us the force that we are today. Although we also supply the finest fruit and vegetables, potatoes, as you can probably imagine from our name, is our core business. The potato as everyone knows has always been close to Irish hearts due to the tragic history of the famine in the mid 1840's when the potato crop failed due to a blight epidemic. ireland lost half it's population due to starvation and emigration.

We at MPC specialise in the potato sector. We supply a wide range of potatoes ranging from Baby Potatoes to Baker Potatoes. We both grow and source our potatoes locally and nationwide. Much of our salad potatoes are sourced abroad (France, Israel, etc.). We ensure that each of our growers reach the requirements set out in our specifications with constant and consistent quality, but most importantly, taking great care in handling of the potatoes, safety of supplies and exchange of know how.

All MPC packaging has full traceability, tracing back to the root of the grower and this is monitored from the seed to the shelf. In order to ensure and maintain quality standards of our potatoes we follow HACCP procedures from Quality Controller to the testing of Brown Rot, Black Leg, etc. Indeed MPC are proud to have won Quality and Hygiene awards and we are currently striving for higher targets.

MPC prides itself in the efficient and effective way in which it's finished products are distributed and presented in retail outlets for potential customers. Much time is spent behind the scenes ensuring the finished product is both enticing and eye catching.
