The area of vegetables and salads is treated very proudly and handled with serious care, from the highest quality seed put into the ground to the most eye catching eco friendly packaging in the shops. as this section is home grown we tend to promote it as much as possible. We currently sell over thirty lines of Irish vegetables ranging from carrots to spinach and leeks to mushrooms.

Different products will peak at different stages of the year. For example we produce over five different varieties of lettuce in the summer months when people are eating light and outdoors. Come the dark evenings and colder weather, the turnip gets its' moment of glory, and don't forget the brussels sprout you either love or hate.

We at Meade Potato Company make it our business for the sales team to go out once a week to our fieldsmen so that we can get an insight and listen to their views on different growing techniques or seeds that could be tried in order to bring the freshest and tastiest vegetables to the kitchen table.
